Hi everyone! Welcome to the Codex devblog.
We have a little less than three month, a lovely workshop where we can work together and, most of all, lots of passion to share!

The first weeks of the project have been centred around establishing a lore and a consistent art direction while getting to know AR and defining our gameplay loops. We are now entering the production phase and we do already have a prototype up and running. Characters, illustrations and a final critical path of the level design is currently being made.
We will update our progress for you right here on this very blog while we tackle the challenges that are game and visual design for the experience that we want (expect to read things about AR tech, game design, art breakdowns and hopefully more).
Inspired by projects such as the augmented gallery “Alchemica” or traditional gamebooks, but with a puzzle-game perspective in mind, we hope Codex will be a fresh take on AR gaming.
